Re: Welcome!
Hi. I agree, this way I don't have to fill Andy's inbox full of e-mails!

Re: Evolution Simulator
I read a Wednesday update a looooooooong time ago about an evolution simulator and I haven't heard anything more about it. Is it still being worked on? I believe so, but I think Andy is more focused on the ~~Electric Shocktopus!~~ at the moment. However, I do think he should make something new out ...

Re: Who else is a playtester?
"I" ... wait, I'm making the game, does that count? Yes, yes it does. As a heads up, I haven't seen any of the playtesters on the forum yet, but they may well show up. And as for what you can share, I can't really think of any limits, aside from sharing the actual game. Level descriptions...

Also, Andy, quick question: just about how much are we allowed to leak about the game? Just wanna know in case I want to discuss the game with fellow testers.

Re: Level editor?
Okway. I mean, when you ask with that puppy-dog face, how can I say no? That should be pretty straightforward, actually. I'll add it onto my to-do list. I didn't actually make the puppy face. I'll do it anyway. https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTsqOL4IdA1cm-XNTguLY9i9OnF74hNTGJy...

Re: r^-5 "Orbital Decay"?
Yeah, it reminds me of those old spirographs. The planet can only get so close to the star, and only so far, and then inside that range it just spirals around. It turns out r^-2 is pretty special for getting closed elliptical orbits. (Thank goodness for the fact Newtonian gravity *is* r^-2... just ...

Re: The List
I was bummed that (not having a PC) I couldn't play the Stranger Loop *before*. But now that I see that whacked-out diagram you drew, I'm *really* bummed! Gotta see if I can mooch off a PC-owning friend. Seems brain-tingling. It's not much of a game, it's more of a toy or proof of concept. All you ...
