walking perpendicular slows down bullets?

Post by yoolern10 »

A possible bug? I've noticed that the bullets shot downwards slow down when I accelerate to the left, but accelerate when I accelerate to the right. Point me out if I lack understanding of in depth physics, but I don't think universe favors either left or right-handedness, at least for relativity? This happened in level 17, but in other times I've noticed this effect.

Seems to me like you might be noticing a time effect.

If you pull up a level with a clock in it -- or bonus level 43/44, for instance, with bunches of clocks -- you can test this effect out yourself. Basically, things you accelerate towards are advanced in time, and things you accelerate away from are slowed in time. So in this case, it depends whether you are accelerating towards or away from the bullets (and doesn't depend on left/right). If you move to the other side of the bullets, you should notice the effect 'flip' too.

Wow, I'm learning a lot about relativity from here. Thanks!
