My 3 body simulations in 4 dimensions

Post by AlternateGravity »

I created 2 3 body simulations in excel, in which the forces depend on charges instead of mass, and with the force law Y2(r)/r with Y2(r) being a Bessel function of the second kind.

In order to run the simulations first copy the formulas from the Formulas file, and paste them into the corresponding blank cells sheet1 of the Moon Simulation file and the Isoclinic Simulation file. Next make 3 copies of the x chart, and change the y values in each in order to have one chart for each pair of time to a spatial coordinate. Then make 5 copies of the xy chart and change the x and y references in order to have 1 chart for each pair of spatial coordinates. Then select from A3 to KY5000 and fill down.

You will then be able to look at all 11 charts to help see how the bodies are moving through the 4 dimensions of space. I set the initial conditions, masses, and charges, to be random. You can look at sheet2 in order to help understand how the initial conditions are set. Also clicking on a cell and hitting enter changes the initial conditions, masses, and charges.

Gravitons would be my favorite particle as their existence could prove extra dimensions.

I think it would be cool if it was possible to have a similar simulation on the GSim of this site.
